Thanksgiving in Oregon

I love Thanksgiving. There is something so wonderful about taking a season in our year to focus on the people and things for which we are thankful.  It is definitely one of my favorite holidays!!!  Our family had a wonderful time making memories in Oregon. Yes, we even completed our 3rd annual flag football game. It pains me to report that Team Mom wasn't victorious this year. Don't worry, though, cause I've already started watching game film to prepare for next year!!  Look out, Team Dad!!!

Team Mom was, of course, wearing the red flags.
Grandpa played quarterback for both teams.
Hike!!

I think traditions are so good for bringing family and friends together.  Overall, it was a great trip.  Thad's parents have a few acres, so there was lots of room to run...and boy did we use every last square foot!!  We rode bikes, hiked, rode four-wheelers, played hide and seek, and pretty much ran circles around the place...such a blast!!

The most important part, of course, was spending time with extended family we don't get to see often enough.  I am so very grateful my kids are old enough to remember their great-grandparents, and fun times they've shared.

Can you tell they "love" it when I announce we ned to get a group shot??
The picture is a bit dark with the big window behind Seth and Grandpa.  I really like capturing moments like this.
I refuse to tell you how much pie I ate!!!!!

It was a great Thanksgiving holiday.  I am so grateful for my family.
